32-bit vs. 64-bit
Genuine Windows 7 operating systems are available in a 32- or 64-bit version. The processor and amount of RAM installed in your Lenovo system determines which Windows version you are capable of running. Many processors are not capable of running a 64-bit version of Windows 7, as well, if your system has 4GB or more of installed RAM, a 64-bit version of Genuine Windows 7 is capable of handling the increased memory, thus making your Windows experience quicker and more efficient.
