The ThinkCentre and Lenovo Serial ATA DVD-ROM Drive delivers the latest DVD media compatibility, reading all currently available DVD-RAM media shipped in Type II cartridges, DVD-R media, single and dual layer DVDs with up to 17GB data capacity per disc and all popular CD media. The maximum DVD read speed is 16X CAV and the maximum CD read speed is 40X CAV. Decoding software for DVD video playback is included. The drive is well-suited for customers distributing education and database applications and for handling large capacity data requirements such as graphics, imaging and multiple CD consolidation. This drive assumes the warranty of the Lenovo desktop system in which it is installed, which for many Lenovo PCs can entitle this product to on-site service for up to 3 years.
