Multimode Notebook — Switch Between Laptop and Stand Modes

When you're relying heavily on the keyboard — writing emails or blogging, for example — keep your A10 in the classic laptop mode for maximum productivity. But when you're focusing on touch applications, web chatting, or enjoying a film or video, flip the screen 300 degrees to enter stand mode. The A10's unique design means it adapts to whatever you choose to Do.

Thin and Light for Doers on the Go

Thin and light laptops usually bear a hefty price tag, but the affordable A10 Android notebook is only 17.3mm (0.68") thick and weighs in at just 1kg (2.2 lbs).

    Great for App Enthusiasts

The Lenovo A10 runs on a Lenovo-customized Android-based user interface that's intuitive, convenient, and easy to use. And because it runs on Android, the A10 notebook gives you access to all of the apps available in the Google Play Store — a rare feature on laptop devices.

    10-Point Multitouch Display

Interact with your A10 Android laptop by using simple, intuitive gestures directly on the 10" 10-point multitouch display. What's more, touchscreen apps are better than ever on the A10 because the hinge prevents the screen from moving when touched.

    Long Battery Life

With **up to 9 hours' battery life between charges — and a whopping 39 hours of audio playback with the display off — the A10 is an ideal companion for users on the go.

    AccuType Keyboard

The acclaimed AccuType keyboard is ergonomically designed to make typing more comfortable and to reduce errors.

    Stereo Speakers and Webcam

The A10's speakers deliver rich stereo sound, while the integrated webcam make it a great device for video chats.

    Easy Connectivity

WiFi, Bluetooth, and EDR connectivity make it easy to get online or connect to other devices wirelessly.

    Multitouch Touchpad

The intuitive, easy-to-use touchpad features simple scroll, zoom, and rotate functions.

As I have only the Lenovo for 20 days, I have not had the time to fully get to know it. But I do get a good a feel for it.
Also I am not that fast with a new item, as I am in my mid 80s

    Lenovo IdeaTab A10-70

    1 out of 10

    GB Intense enthusiastic user. Thinkpad
I liked the design of this product, the addition of the keyboard is great.
I didn't like the fact that the taskbar takes up so much of the screen real estate, and that it is impossible to remove this without rooting the device. This was a huge negative for me as it made navigating apps and websites really hard. I had really high expectations for this device having previously owned and loved my A10-70 tab. A combination of the A10-70 and the keyboard from the A10 would have been awesome. Not sure why Lenovo didn't do this. I would have liked to have written more about this product but I have now sold it and bought another A10-70 tab.

Operates like a tablet, but with the addition of a laptop style keyboard that is a pleasure to use.
On/Off switch is small and fiddly.

  • Ask an Owner

Here's a list of the questions other shoppers have asked owners of the A10

    1. Benedict asked on
How do I setup my new lenovo IdeaPad A10
      1. Kuldip replied on
It comes pre setup, you just need to login with your google account.
    2. charles asked on
how can i access files stored in USB flash drive on the system
      1. David replied on
Only way I found was to get a micro USB adaptor, pain A10 was cheap but has major limitations, regards
    3. samuel asked on
Please can I install football manager 2015 or 2016 in it

      1. Harry replied on
The device in question runs Android so can't run PC software I'm afraid.
    4. Lara asked on
Can I install windows and bbm on my ideapad?
      1. Harry replied on
It's an ARM type chipset so you can't run Windows.
Android BBM should run though I haven't tried it.
NB. They don't make the Android A10 any more.
    5. Ahabue asked on
      1. can you make a call with it, i mean does it uses a sim card for phones, since its a pad.
      2. is the memory 16 or 32 GB? Can it be increased to a 100GB now that files are now more large than it was before?
      3. if it can be increased how can one go about it?
      4. does it used an external hard drive of up to 500GB

      1. Kuldip replied on
I would avoid this model, I found it unusable with the size of the screen and the inability to remove the permanent taskbar along the bottom of the screen. I would recommend the new A10-70 (tab 2)

That should suit your needs better.
    6. olunwa asked on
how do i connect with my WiFi
      1. David replied on
Very easy with the start up, it shows you how its simply inputting the code on your Wi-Fi box.
