    Enterprise PC Capabilities

With features like the Intel® Atom z8700 Quad-Core processor, Windows 10, speedy HD graphics, 64-bit OS support, optional dTPM encryption, and up to 128GB storage, this tablet is ready for business. Work how you want, when you want.

    Enhanced Security

Protect your data and your physical asset with Trusted Platform Module encryption (TPM) and the Kensington "Go Saver" lock slot, as well as options such as a Swipe Fingerprint Reader, optional SmartCard Reader, and discrete TPM. And optional near field communication (NFC) allows your tablet to communicate securely with other mobile devices.

    Multimode Versatility

Enjoy the portability of tablet mode when you’re on the go or connect it to the optional folio keyboard, ThinkPad tablet dock, or monitor to use it as a laptop or desktop PC. To watch a video or run a slideshow, flip over the optional Quickshot Cover to enter Tent Mode.

    Premium Construction

Engineered and built with the ThinkPad durability you've come to know and trust, this tablet's grip-friendly finish will help you keep a steady hold on it. And its large FHD display is protected by tough-as-nails Corning® Gorilla® Glass.

Keyboard Options for Full PC Experience

Ready to use a keyboard with your tablet? Opt for portable productivity with the ThinkPad 10 Folio Keyboard, a protective case that houses thin mechanical keys in a full QWERTY configuration, complete with F1-F12 and Windows shortcut keys. Or you can slide it into the optional ThinkPad 10 Ultrabook Keyboard, a base with a full keyboard and built-in glass touchpad. Or you can just attach it to the optional ThinkPad Tablet Dock, with plenty of ports to connect to a keyboard, mouse, monitor, or other peripherals.

Optional ThinkPad Pen Pro with WRITEit

The new ThinkPad Active Pen performs capacitive touchscreen functions – swipe, drag, open, click – with precise control, includes a right-click button, and converts your handwriting into digital text. For added flexibility, it can be bundled with the device or you can buy the pen after you have your tablet. And with WRITEit, you can write directly into most applications, enhancing the performance of active pen by turning handwriting to text

    Optional Quickshot Cover

Keep your tablet covered, even when taking a photo. Simply flick back the corner flap to expose the lens, and the camera app will open automatically. The magnetic closure also triggers and wakes the tablet from sleep mode.

Full HD (1920x1200) WUXGA Display With IPS Technology

The vibrant 10.1" wide-view display uses In-Plane Switching (IPS) for vivid colors and nearly 180-degree viewing angles, and is anti-smudge and anti-fingerprint.

    Ten-Finger Multitouch Technology

Seamlessly integrate with Windows 10, and enjoy more precise control.

    Dual 1080p HD Cameras

1.5MP front-facing webcam for crystal-clear video conferencing, supported by digital-array microphones with noise cancellation and VoIP optimization. 5MP rear-facing camera with auto-focus and -flash, and video recording.

    Online Connectivity Options

With 802.11ac WiFi, Bluetooth® 4.0, and optional worldwide LTE/3G WWAN, you’ll be able to connect to the internet wherever you go.

    Fast Data Transfer

Move data between your laptop and other devices quickly with USB 3.0 – it's up to 10 times faster than previous USB technologies, and is backward-compatible with USB 2.0. And it’s a full-sized port on this tablet.

Beautifully engineered. Superb screen I have the pen based option which is very easy to write on.

This is a superb tablet with the limiting factor being Windows apps that aren't tablet ready (including office 365) and do need a keyboard/mouse. I use the Thinkpad Ultra Keyboard which is well made and allows me an option of tablet v mini laptop when I travel.
Through bad look or not it wasn't the easiest machine to set-up, I had issues with Norton (which I removed and was forced to reinstall as I couldn't get the Windows Firewall service to start). I wish Lenovo wouldn't add so much bloatware.

The jury is also out on the resilience of the Sierra Wireless 4g on roaming. Nowhere near as solid as an iPad (similar story on my X1 Carbon).

A tablet which works absolutely fine with office programs (when you use a keyboard and mouse) - great. Then it can also be used as a tablet. A miniature office, very good product.
I bought a digitizer pen and it didn't work. You need to be clear about which pens work with this tablet. Please give clear guidance on your website.

    ThinkPad 10

  • Ask an Owner

ThinkPad 10 2nd genAsk an Owner

Here's a list of the questions other shoppers have asked owners of the ThinkPad 10

    1. Varsha asked on
does it have a headphones socket? can I attach a wireless Headset? Does it have a memory stick slot?

      1. Nikolay replied on
ThinkPad 10 has 3.5mm phone-combo jack (mic+headphones). It also supports Bluetooth headphones with mic.
My version TP10 (2014 model) supports upto 64Gb microSD card.
Note that there is full size USB port, so you could plug in USB flash drive.
    2. Vicky asked on
If I use outlook and want to use the take notes during a meeting can these be written using the stylus ? These are the specs given to me to purchase departmental tablet.
      1. Nick replied on
I have not been able to make the stylus work. Try another product I would say.
    3. Tex asked on
I have a full Office 365 subscription - is every part of this compatible with the Thinkpad? (in particular, will I be able to use MS Publisher on this item, because that is not an option with Android)
      1. Graham replied on
Yes it is a full Windows 10 pc so will run anything designed for windows but be aware of the limited processing power. It has a Atom x7-Z8700 so will cope with the basic tasks and software but will struggle with more demanding photo or video editing.
    4. Dave asked on
Does the ThinkPad 10 come with TPM Security as standard? If so, has anyone tried it with BitLocker Disk Encryption under Windows 10?
      1. Nikolay replied on
I have been using bit locker with win 8.1ane after automatical upgrade to win 10, have not changed any settings on the machine.
No problem with that has been found.
    5. Emily asked on
One of the main advertised features of the Thinkpad 10 is the ThinkPad 10 Folio Keyboard that you can use with the tablet, and although Lenovo show it as an accessory on the website, it isn't available to buy. Do you know where I can buy this from? Or is it not available anymore?
      1. Wayne replied on
I don't Emily, although it looks like you could buy a US one from Amazon.com, but I suspect the reason it's not for sale is it isn't a great product. it's ill fitting and bulky and not a great keyboard. I have one but bought the ultrabook keyboard which is much better and the quality you'd expect from Lenovo.
      2. Nick replied on
I have one, and it is bulky, and heavy, works as a keyboard and screen-protector though. So maybe go with the other one.
      3. Graham replied on

This is the link for the accessories page but you will have to phone Lenovo for more information.
    6. Stefan asked on
what is the maximum size sd card I can fit into the ThinkPad 2nd generation?
      1. Nikolay replied on
I have tried 32Gb, it was working.
    7. Mateus asked on
I wonder if the Lenovo ThinkPad 10 supports fingerprint authentication?
      1. John replied on
    8. Pat asked on
where can I get the rugged case for the think pad 10, This is one of the reasons I got this tablet but cant seem to find it anywhere?
      1. Paul replied on
Phone lenove and order 1 it is has easy as that ps I love thinkpads
