What You Are Saying

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Decently priced laptop with some decent power. Got this on a friend's recommendation because my old laptop can't play new games. You're not going to be playing the newest stuff on the highest settings, but it's enough to keep you gaming for a while, from what I've seen so far. Had a few annoyances like a weird touchpad driver that won't let me disable the 'deactivate touchpad while typing' feature, which means you can -not- play most games comfortably with the laptop unless you use a mouse or controller: Trying to use WASD means the touchpad won't respond when you try to look around. I'm still trying to find a fix that doesn't involve simply deactivating the driver and losing the ability to scroll.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not a Gaming Laptop This is not a gaming laptop. Although the price to value ratio is not bad for a portable laptop with a 4k screen, there are lots of design issues here. The max FPS you can achieve with the built in display is locked to 47 fps. (Thanks to intel drivers, I have found no way to get around this, even at lower resolutions.) There is no external displayport to connect to an external monitor, only HDMI. Even if you do have an external, the best FPS you can achieve is 60 fps. I think the location of the CPU and GFX card should have been swapped, because the left (AWSD) side of the keyboard runs really hot, while the right side appears to run cool. This makes gaming while using the laptop keyboard.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Review. Bought this awhile back but while doing a CIT assignment I saw these reviews. 1) I have run 2 games on this laptop at the same time. WOW and B&S (World of Warcraft / Blade and Soul) with no problems what so ever also always on High Resolution. 2) Yes, there is an issue that the left side gets hot while the right side stays cool but then again I use all my left ports: HDMI, USB Mouse, Headset USB. With all that I expect it too. 3) Never had problem with color like these reviews. My FPS exceeds exceeds 50 always, but switches constantly. 6) My only problem is I really wish I had more ports but I have another monitor so I guess it's fine.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from UHD monitor Crisp but Colors are Terrible What is the point of a 4K display if the colors are all off? The screen does not accurately render colors, making this computer useless for multimedia applications like photo or video editing. The problem is especially bad with bright yellows. Don't watch The Simpsons on this machine, as they will appear to be a disgusting greenish tan. Lenovo has known about this problem but is not fixing it.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Experience Ruined by Terrible Yellows The laptop is nearly perfect, especially for the price; however, the yellows on this laptop look horrible, and consequently kills the experience. The yellows appear as a dark, greenish, rotten mustard color. It's VERY noticeable, even if you don't have a keen eye for those things. If you are planning on getting this laptop and you actually like decent colors, then I suggest waiting for them to fix this issue or buying from a different brand. If they ever do fix this yellow issue, then it will be an excellent laptop for the price. But in it's current state, I would not recommend this product.
