Built on the Intel^® Xeon^® 5600-class processors platform, the RD230 can easily power most demanding applications such as Media Streaming, WebApp Clusters, and infrastructure solutions. With 8 memory slots and a scalable memory capacity of 64GB, the ThinkServer RD230 offers the horsepower required for increasingly demanding workloads.

Scaleable Storage Technology

The RD240 offers scalable storage capacity up to 16TB and a choice of high-performance SAS hard drives or low-cost SATA hard drives — which provides storage scalability to grow within your solution needs. Additionally, built-in hot swap capability allows you to remove and insert hard drives without having to power down the server, which optimizes server up-time.

Remote Manageability

The RD240 comes standard with web-enabled remote management, giving you complete round-the-clock access to your server from any location.
