Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good but not great I've had this product for about a month and I'm using it with the S431. I had a wireless Microsoft Keyboard and Mouse. From the first day the keyboard and mouse had connectivity issues through the docking station unless they were within inches of the dock. Very irritating. I have since replaced with a wired Logitech keyboard and wireless Logitech mouse and all issues resolved. However, several times I have to restart the computer with the power on the docking station to make everything connected to the docking station work. Works but definitely not without kinks.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Less than impressive design I have now deployed 3 of these docking stations and the design is quite awkward. The audio jack and 2 of the 4 USB ports are located on the front so you end up having wires coming from each side of the station. Once all is said and done you have a wired nightmare sitting on your desk. Also, the only display port available is an HDMI port so unless your monitor has this available you will need an adapter. Unlike previous models, you don't drop and snap your laptop in, instead you have a cable to plug into the side. Overall, I can't complain about the performance. As long as you are not OCD about the appearance of all of the wires protruding from this box like Medusa then this docking station will do what you need it to do.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from OneLink Docking Station I have been a Thinkpad fan for many years. I decided to stick with Lenovo for another cycle. I recently purchased the X1 and the OneLink docking device. Overall the device works as advertised, but there is one major design flaw. If you have standard speakers plugged in via the 3.5 m port it creates a terrible humming sound if the laptop goes to sleep or is unplugged from the dock. This is a known issue and there is no workaround. I cannot imagine how this could have ever pasted quality control.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from USB 3.0 I can't believe Lenovo would make such a sub-par product. The product works for the most part, but, my display screens don't connect about 6/10 times. I have the dock connected to 2 additional screen, but, it is a hit or a miss when connecting to those screens. I have to plug and unplug the cable about 10-12 times before getting it to work. When I directly plug the screens into my laptop, they work like a charm, which leads me to believe it's a problem with the dock.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from confusing I purchased a thinkpad docking station and discovered they sell two models without clear specs. The first thinkpad Doc 3.0 does not come with the right cable to power an x1-carbon. You have to buy the Think Pad Pro Dock station that comes with the special cord that fits into the port labeled #3 in the book. The one where you pull off the rubber cap. Now I have two think pad docking stations, but only one works to power computer. Be care full which one you buy.
